Good but needs a little work to make it five stars
This map is handy but I really wish it had the metro stops on it. For some reason one or two are on there but the rest are missing. So if it gets that it will be perfect. The zooming function is nice and works flawlessly. All in all a nice little application.
enh....
Be warned--this is only a map. No interaction at all, no typing in any point of interest.
Very offended!
This app is getting removed from my iPod after only having it for a few minutes. I am very offended that the East section of the city (listed as a sub-section within "Districts") is described as poor and neglected. The Southeast quadrant of Washington DC is commonly referred to as Anacostia, when this in fact is not true. Anacostia is only ONE of many neighborhoods located in Southeast. All of the neighborhoods are not poor and neglected. Some of the most beautiful homes and communities exist on this side of town --- the neighborhoods of Hillcrest, Fort DuPont, Randle Highlands and Fairfax Village just to name a few. This app would be so much better with a change in the description of language of the local neighborhoods. Those who live in DC, the surrounding metropolitan area and visitors to the city need to be educated of the FACTS and not the myths.
Zoom is HORRIBLE
The map is unusable because every time I try to zoom in to read it the map and see more detail it either zooms in too close or pans all the way out. This is on the iPhone 4S. Makes it pretty much worthless. This needs to be fixed.
Useless
Zoom is horrible - keeps jumping back out. Makes map useless. I think this worked better in previous versions; a real disappointment.
